There are so many negative things in the media and one could get the impression that those things are morally okay. There is infidelity, hate crimes, and murders just to name a few that are common in everyday mainstream media. We as Christians have to be able to filter those things out, not by disconnecting from the world but knowing the differences between right and wrong. We have to incorporate every aspect of our lives with a main focus on God. Most people rely on the things in media to as a motive for the things that happen there life. Meaning that people actually apply what they see in the media into their lives. Instead of applying the word of God to their lives, there are some positive points of the media it can be a point where people could show enter the lives of people and share positive things about Christians. I have learned that if I give God my time with prayer and simply praising him for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me that I can do anything I desire. I learned all the things from exposure to prayer and scriptures. We must believe that incorporating God in our life only makes you a better person. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. There is a great challenge in marriage, in order to be in any sort of relationship we must communicate. When looking to for relationship we should also choose someone that shares the same beliefs and outlook as us. God has given us all the necessary tools to be able to determine if one shares the same values and faith. God has great things in store for us and we should only want a relationship with someone that satisfies those qualities. Once we find a person that fits these guidelines, and we begin that relationship we must communicate effectively. We must have a clear understanding that as Christian we must live to please God. We should want a very healthy relationship that could possibly lead towards a lifelong marriage. In society we are shown that marriage is not a priority by the media and by the examples that we set for one another. There are so many scandals such as the Tiger Woods Scandal, which merely showed that some people don’t value the marriage. They choose to look outside of their marriage for comforts instead of communicating with each other. You should always put god first in your relationship spend time praying and reading the bible. Talk to one another about things has an open level of trust and communication. As Ecclesiastes 9:9 reads Enjoy life with the wife whom you love, all the days of your vain life that he has given you under the sun, because that is your portion in life and in your toil at which you toil under the sun. Be clear on each other feelings, be honest and if you have conflicts talk them out. If we are in effective in these ways then our relationships would be long lasting. There are also issues of non communication in our family lives. Family should be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally. Families need to have strong parent and sibling relationships. As a family they should understand each other, and create a loving and warm atmosphere that shows love and trust. They should be able to communicate their outlooks and opinions. They should be strong and be able to weather any problems that occur. In society people don’t hold the same value of family. As 1 Thessalonians 5:11 therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. As one becomes more familiar of the bible and its teachings you would see that family is extremely important. There are numerous scriptures that show that the importance of family life. Family life should be aligned with those principles and everyone should have a clear understanding of what roles that they have. We are all created by God and we should be effective in those roles responsible. We should want to live in God’s image and have equal qualities in eyes. We should commit our lives to God and adhere to the scriptures that are written and we will succeed in receiving many blessings. In order to overcome temptation and sin you must pray and stay focused on the word. One has to realize that all our battles belong to God and there is no weapon that could be formed against him. We are faced with many ways not to be effective in communicating due the fact that we are surrounded with so much secularism in the workplace, family life and the media. The society that we live in is different as it evolves each day so there is a high probability that one may get caught up in the things that are not in God’s image. People are easier influenced based on the things they are exposed to. In our society people are glorified in the media for committing sins, people are frowned upon for being vocal about their Christian beliefs and people do not value the true meaning of family. We should all be willing to experience all the great blessing that our creator as in store for us. We should not allow anyone or anything to influence us to do things that don’t mirror the image of Christians. We allow society to imply how we should act, dress, teach and love one another. Society should not be whom we look to for advice we should seek advisement for our creator. We should always feel as if we are able to come to God and he can solve our problems big or small. As Genesis 1:27 reads So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. God wants us to love another, care for each other, forgive one another and we should be willing to do those things. If we do we will continually be blessed.
